You can scan, preview, locate and hide duplicates both in trial version and registered version, but in trial version you cannot delete all the selected duplicates with one click.
If the images are considered as duplicate images, it means those images are identical, they have the same format, same size, same resolution and same content.
If the images are identical or similar in content, but different in size, resolution or format, they will be considered as similar images.
After you installed and launched Duplicate Finder for Mac, command-click multiple folders or libraries you want to scan, drag-n-drop to Duplicate Finder for Mac. Click Scan button start to scan.

Maybe these songs are considered as duplicates by you, but technically they aren't duplicates. These songs may have the same name or looks like the same song, but there probably a difference in content, that's why Cisdem does not remove them.
All the pictures in Photos app are saved in a photos library, so please make sure what you dragged and dropped into the program for scanning is a photos library instead of Photos app.

To protect the security of users photos, Cisdem will only mark the exact duplicate photos for deletion, for the similar photos, we suggest that users can manually mark them for deletion after carefully checking.
But if you want to auto select them for deletion, you can navigate to Image tab> Similar, press Command+A to select all the similar photos, click Smart select on the right side.

Cisdem Duplicate Finder can only scan your local photo library, you can sync your photo library from iCloud to your local device, once the duplicates in your local photo library are cleared, then the duplicates in your iCould photo library will be synchronously cleared.
1. It maybe caused by the similar photos, To protect the security of users data, Cisdem will not auto mark similar photos for deletion, which will only auto mark exact duplicates for deletion. If you just click Delete when the scan is finished, then it will only delete the exact duplicates.
To auto select the similar photos for deletion, you can run Cisdem Duplicate Finder and scan your photo library again, in the scan result interface, press Command+A to select all the photos in the left side list, click Smart Select on the right side, and then click Delete.
2. Is the synchronization process between iCould and your local device in progress? If yes, you had better wait until the synchronization process is completed and then drag your local photo library into Cisdem to scan again.
