Most players choose to download and play Fortnite on PC through the Epic Games Launcher. It is a digital distribution platform for video games. Without the Epic Games Launcher, players can't run and play Fortnite. To block access to Fortnite on Windows PC, all you need to do is block the launcher.

Step 1. Download and install the Fortnite blocker on your computer.

Step 3. Go to the task bar and click its icon. Enter the password to access the main window.
Step 4. Tap App Lock.
Step 5. To block Fortnite app, drag the desktop shortcut of Epic Games Launcher into the main window.
Or, you can click the plus icon. Go to C:\Program Files. Find Epic Games and add it to block.
Now Fortnite is blocked.
If someone tries to play Fortnite on the computer, it won’t open. And a window will pop up asking for the password.
To remove the blocking for Fortnite, there are 3 options:
1. Enter the password to access the main window of AppCrypt. Select Epic Games Launcher. Press the Delete key.
2. Right-click the lock icon on the taskbar. Click Disable App Lock and then enter the password.
3. Quit AppCrypt with password.
Tip 1: For those who are addicted to Fortnite or want to help child overcome Fortnite addiction, you can block Fortnite on PC at specific times (e.g. work hours, bedtime) via AppCrypt: Select Epic Games Launcher from the block list. Click the clock icon that appears. Enable Custom Schedule on the bottom left corner. Then click the Add Schedule button. Set the time you want to block Fortnite on your computer.
Tip 2: To make the blocking more effective, you can enable the auto-lock feature in the Preferences window. Check the 2 boxes under App Lock. Fortnite will be locked automatically when it is deactivated for a certain times or after you leaving your computer. This feature is useful when you wan to prevent your children from accessing the Fortnite app on your computer but don’t want to block yourself.
Mac users can also download and play Fortnite through the Epic Games Launcher. But only older version 13.40 is supported on Mac. Additionally, there’re multiple streaming services that allow users to play Fortnite via cloud gaming. Step 3. Add following 3 sites into the URL field. Click Add.

Now any user of this computer won’t be able to access Fortnite via the cloud gaming services.
